"Warriors of Light, this is the time to gird yourselves in preparation for fighting the final battle — the battle of self within — and conquer the enemy, the little personality that leads you in wrong directions. No longer can you scatter your forces within. This is the time to rally, to push forward to win the victory. Don't hesitate! Victory is yours! I, Skanda, stand beside you in this battle to conquer your enemy, the last vestiges of the lower self.

"I was created of Siva as a general to lead you to the mountain top where the banner of glory can be planted on the highest peak. Grace is given you to carry you upward and onward. Don't hesitate! Come! I go before you and lead you safely to the promised state of peace and glory, where no harm of earthly troubles can come near you forevermore.

"March forward! I give you courage and strength as grace. Falter not, but step by step proceed with care. My Love for you I have proven. Now prove your Love for me by not faltering in this great battle of life. If you stumble and the enemy seems to be too virulent, just call my name, 'Skanda,' thrice, and before the last call, I shall be at your side to guide you out of danger.

"I, Skanda, am the epitome of Love and strength, reinforcing courage. Trust me, call me, test me if you will, and I will not let you down.

"I am watching your every step. Although I know your weaknesses and your strengths, I am not here to judge, but to lead you with my Vel held high that you can see its flame to light your way.

"Look now at my Vel as I hold it high, and see the Light Jyoti blazing as golden energy. Take this within your solar plexus and visualize the Jyoti-Light filling every cell of your body from head to toe. Bathe yourself in it and be purified through Love. Let it shine out from you as an aura of beautiful colors like a rainbow. The battle is won!
